Dr. Powers has been serving the mental health community since 2004, working in both community mental health centers and private practice for over 18 years. She has also served as the administrative medical director at LifeCare Family Services. In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Powers has continued to educate future clinicians. She was an Assistant Professor at the University of North Florida, Brooks College of Health and served as an Instructor in the Department of Psychiatry with the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM). She sees patients age 14 and older.

Andrea has been serving the mental health community since 1998, working in both community mental health centers and in-patient mental health facilities. Andrea has broad experience in the treatment of adults, adolescents, and children with a wide range of psychiatric disorders including serious persistent mental illness, co-occurring disorders, depressive and anxiety disorders, PTSD, and ADHD. She sees patients 5 and older.

M. Chad Tavares is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental-Health Nurse Practitioner. He completed his undergraduate degree at Troy University in Troy, AL and graduated with a master’s degree at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, AL.
Mr. Tavares has over seven years of nursing experience in multiple settings including inpatient psychiatric care and he is certified to see patients across the lifespan (children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics) with a broad range of psychiatric conditions including PTSD, ADHD, anxiety, and depression. He sees patients age 5 and older.
Mr. Tavares is also an Air Force veteran having honorably served six years in various theaters including Panama, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia.

Ms. Kugler has expertise and experience working with patients struggling with depression, anxiety, eating disorders, trauma, substance abuse, domestic violence, Post Traumatic Stress, co-dependency and childhood abuse, to name a few. In session, she may use a variety of therapeutic methods to assist her clients on their path to wellness. Ms. Kugler has been trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, Equine Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and uses aspects of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. She sees patients age 5 and older.

Mr. Sean Stretch obtained his college degree from Greenville University in Greenville, Illinois in 2009. After successfully obtaining his college degree, Sean pursued another passion and joined the United States military.
Sean, a second generation veteran, joined the United States Army as a Forward Observer and also served as an Airborne Paratrooper from 2009 to 2014. While on active duty, during Operation Enduring Freedom. He was subsequently injured in battle, whereafter he was honorably discharged. Sean has been awarded numerous accolades to including a Purple Heart, Afghanistan Campaign Medal w/Campaign Star, Army Commendation Medal x2, NATO Medal, Combat Action Badge, Parachutist Badge and many more.
Since his discharge from the military Sean finds purpose and is driven to help others who have served or currently are serving in the United States military. In addition, to providing help with VA issues, Sean also assists by connecting patients to other veteran not-for-profit organizations, veteran outreach groups, veterans’ court, college tuition assistance/education benefits, financial assistance grants and programs, housing assistance, as well as referrals to other healthcare providers and specialists.
Sean (and his service dog Max) joined Bluewater Behavioral Health in 2022 as the Veteran Outreach Coordinator. As a veteran, Sean has navigated the Veterans Health Care Administration system as well and is uniquely qualified to assist others in obtaining services in a vast, complex healthcare system. He is knowledgeable from first-hand experience as a former military service member as well as experience with the VA and provides a wealth of resources available to active-duty service members, veterans, and their families, alike.
